DURING THE EXHIBITION

Visitors can put their phones at the bottom of the box and take a selfie and the scenes inside. When they looking from the top down, they can see a clear storm and a blurred prosperous city (has been destroyed). It’s a kind of feeling that we are standing now and looking at the past. However, when looking from the bottom up, the sight in the selfie shows a clear scene of the prosperous city, blurred storm (coming soon) and ourselves. So it’s like standing in the past to see the future.

We hope everybody to realize that sometimes we can predict the natural disasters that may occur, but it’s too late to make a change after the thing has happened. So try to do something now to prevent it. Maybe the result will be better.

During the exhibition: Project

On the first night, the battery ran out. And the light started to change color because of signal interference.

Emergency measures: I made greeting cards to show the original light effect, and then explained our project in the park.

On the third day of the exhibition, our project was spilled with wine, so we had to take it back, clean up the stains and put it back together again.

Please Show Respect for the works on the exhibition. Thank you!

To better illustrate how to play with the lightbox, we put more instructions and arrow instructions on it.

On the last night, all the lights in the upper box were broken.
Instead of strip lights, I used glow sticks.
